We went on a road trip.

About a month ago, we went on a road trip to my aunt’s house for my cousin’s graduation party. It’s 10 hrs one way. We rented an RV which helped make it better immensely, but still it was bad. I was so out-of-whack from bouncing around that whole time and therefore hurt a lot. Thankful my chiropractor fixed me up the day after we got home.

I took my meds with of course, and I have to take them with meals. Not thinking anything of it, I took out my handful (literally, I can barely keep all of them in my hand!) of supplements/pills and drowned them two large ones at a time in a half glass of lemonade (I’m getting good!). Then I realized they were staring at me. I made a face like “what?” and they just mumbled something about a lot of pills. Ha! Tell me about it, this isn’t even half of them for today. This is just this meal.

Friends came to visit us, and I was asked: “I suppose you don’t have any ibuprofen, do you?” I cracked up. Of course I do!! I had two bottles and never go anywhere without any after learning my lesson once.

At the grad party, I ate some and then felt so sick, which when you add in the crowds, I was so sick I was in the bathroom almost puking. I went back to the house with a couple of my aunt’s (my dad has 3 sisters, all were there, so don’t tell my I’m overusing the word aunt!) to rest. And of course felt better almost right away.

Thanks Lyme, for making me feel like crap the entire weekend, and ruining most of it for me. I appreciate it.
