Being sick sucks. That's about all there is too it.
Yesterday I was diagnosed with Lyme disease. A few days ago we sent some samples (hair, finger nail, and q-tip with urine one end and spit on the other) to a homeopathic doctor. Results came back and I had Lyme and a whole bunch of other stuff including hormonal imbalance. I'm sick. Apparently, I'm really sick.
I'm doing okay with it, but it upset mom a bit. I guess I'm glad it's not a brain tumor and I'm not going to die. I'm also very glad to have a diagnosis. I guess for some people it can go on for years and years and get really, really bad. We think I got it in Ukraine - 3 yrs ago in July, so 2.5 years ago, but we'll never really know. And I'm so glad I haven't been this sick since then.
Treatment is a bunch of pills and supplements. Sigh. I hate swallowing stuff, and some of these are really nasty, but I suppose it could be worse. The headaches can be terrible the joint pain in my wrists is awful, and the fatigue is exhausting, so I really hope this works.
